This CD was recorded together with the Leipziger Blechbläsersolisten (Leipzig Brass Soloists), an ensemble of the MDR Symphony Orchestra. It contains music for advent and Christmas from various epochs. The Repertoire reaches from songs of the middle ages to sentimental contemporary arrangements. The varied mixture of known and unknown pieces, vocal and instrumental songs, virtuosity and pensiveness transforms mood into sound.
